Burnshield Hydrogel

Burnshield Hydrogel 125ml is a sterile trauma hydrogel, intended for treating minor burns and scalds. Thanks to its high water content, Burnshield hydrogel cools and soothes by absorbing and dissipating heat, thereby minimising skin damage.

Burnshield gel is white to off-white and becomes transparent after application, allowing monitoring of the wound’s progress. It is non-adhesive and does not stick to the wound. It is non-toxic, non-irritant and safe for use on children.

Composition:

• Melaleuca Alt. oil (tea tree)
• Water (96%)
• Gelling agent

Indications for use:

• Sunburns
• Superficial / partial-thickness burns
• Rehydrating dressings
• Hard-to-reach areas

How to apply:

• Apply Burnshield hydrogel generously — make sure you extend beyond the burn-affected area.
• Secure the gel with a non-adherent dressing.
• Reapply the hydrogel to prevent the wound from drying out.
