GEM Premier 3500 with iQM

GEM Premier 3500 is a blood gas analyser intended for point-of-care testing, designed to provide the laboratory and hospital with reliable results from heparinised whole blood, with minimal operating effort. The system uses single-use GEM PAK cartridges, self-contained and maintenance-free, which require no refrigeration and contain all the components necessary for patient testing. Operation is learned in a few minutes: the user presses “GO!”, presents the sample, and all the tests are ready 85 seconds after the sample is introduced.

The heart of the system is iQM® (Intelligent Quality Management) — a patented active quality control program that continuously monitors, in real time, the entire analytical process. It automatically detects errors, corrects the system and documents the corrective actions 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, reducing the error detection time from hours to minutes. Through the GEMweb® Plus 500 software, patient and quality control data can be managed and viewed centrally, from any PC or tablet connected to the network.
